GREEN SOLAR ACADEMY

GREEN Solar Academy provides industry-recognised solar PV training in Cape Town, helping individuals and businesses build practical skills for South Africa’s growing renewable energy sector.

GREEN offers three recognised solar PV certifications: the GREEN PV Mounter Certification, the SAPVIA PV GreenCard Installer Certification, and the GREEN C&I PV Designer Certification. These credentials recognise practical skills and professional competence at different stages of a career in the solar industry.

GREEN has developed three structured learning paths – Beginner, Installer and Specialist – which provide a clear route towards these certifications. Beyond these pathways, GREEN also offers a range of specialised courses, e.g. on solar maintenance or financing.

This progressive approach reflects the multidisciplinary reality of today’s solar industry, where continuous learning is essential for long-term success.
